This is a pretty simple fix.
When you are knee deep in your money fears, reach into your brain and recall something you are truly grateful for.
I’m not talking about rote thanks like the grace you say at dinner.
I’m talking about real, deep, intrinsic gratitude like when they saved my baby when she was born.
(We were so grateful we considered naming our daughter “Q” after the labor nurse. But nurse Q said not to.)
That kind of gratitude.
Gratitude you feel in your muscles and your bones.
I let my mind go back to that experience and relive that incredibly deep sense of gratitude when I am feeling afraid about having enough money.
Because you can’t feel fear and gratitude at the same time.
It doesn’t totally fix your money problem, but when you are less worried, your brain can see a solution more clearly.
Deep breath.
Think thought.
Feel gratitude.
No money worries.
