While you sleep your brain has a chance to process and file away the things you experienced during the day.
You wake up with a clean slate and a new day.
So how do you start this new day?
What is your first thought?
You might think, “Ugh! I don’t want to get up. Gaaaaah.”
You might think, “This again.”
And while it seems like you have no control over your morning thought, your brain is definitely trainable.
So, what would you CHOOSE to think when you wake up?
What would feel like a delicious thought to start your morning?
It is totally up to you.
Changing your first thought of the day can change your entire trajectory.
My hot tip? Start early and invest.
Time and compounding builds wealth.
But you don’t need to have a lot of money to create generational wealth.
You can teach your children wealth building skills… good money habits and money hygiene.
With any kind of generational wealth, the key is passing on knowledge so new wealth can be created and old wealth can continue to grow.
But just as important?
Creating relationships.
Pass down the skill of being there for the people you love.
In the zombie apocalypse (or pandemic or crashing of the economy) who is going to thrive?
People with friends who will lend a hand.
People who know and are trusted by people.
That is wealth that can’t be lost in a downturn.
Relationships help create financial wealth.
And relationships are the wealth.
I have little scraps of paper all over my desk.
I hear something that resonates with me, and I jot it down.
Then I find it sometime later.
This one stayed with me:
What if the question isn’t money and the answers are here in our bodies?
A lot of our questions are about money.
“How do I make more?”
“How will I have enough to pay my bills?”
“Why are other people ahead of me?”
But what if money is not the question?
Instead of, “How do I get more?”, what if the question is “How do I live a bigger life?”
Or even, “How do I live a life that excites and delights me?”
What does your inner craving really want to know?
And what if the answer is here… in our bodies?
Our bodies are incredible truth tellers, even when our minds are lying to us.
When you get quiet and clear your mind, what does your body say?
Feel into it, from your tingly fingers to your tense shoulders.
We call it a gut feeling.
But it’s really sensations all through our bodies.
Any time you have a money problem try this:
Look for the real, underlying question, then feel into your sensations.
